Ken Tagg - - Macarthur Business Hall of Fame recipient 2007Ken Tagg was born in Lakemba in 1942 and was the second of seven children.  At the age of fourteen Ken had to leave school and work to support the family.  When he was eighteen he started what was to be a twenty-two year career with the Coca Cola Company and became the first Sales Representative Coca Cola employed in Australia and indeed the World.

Ken made many innovative and lasting changes to the way in which McDonalds does its business.  He was responsible for the introduction of extended trading hours at McDonalds by including a breakfast menu, continuous Happy Meals and Value Priced Combo Meals, which are now an integral part McDonalds worldwide.
