Macarthur Business Survey 2009

 
In June and July 2009 MACROC conducted  a survey of businesses in the Macarthur region to obtain their perceptions of the existing business conditions and outlook for investment and recruitment. A total of 84 businesses responded, the majority of which were small representing a wide cross section of industries. Credit squeeze was identified as the dominant constraint for expanding business; lack of skilled labour and the image of the area were identified as other impediments.
