Since 1986 MACROC has acted as an advocacy body for the Councils of Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly. It provides a voice on regional issues and works towards encouraging regional economic growth. It also works to protect the environment and to promote better business practices within businesses in the region. Our brief at MACROC is to look at regional issues that impact on Macarthur and to work collaboratively with our Member Councils to benefit the region as a whole.

This is my final year as President of MACROC and I would like to thank Board members and the staff for their support during my term as President. I would like to especially thank the Executive Officers Lindy Babb and Imam Ali for their professionalism and commitment. I could not have completed my duties as President without the support of the three General Managers. Their counsel and commitment to MACROC is outstanding.
